Tomorrow we are going to start our 18 days of trekking. It will take us AROUND Mount Manaslu, which is the 8th highest mountain in the world (8156m). We will be accompagnied by one guide and two porters who are going to carry all our belongings during the tour. Our highest point will be something over 5000m and we hope not to encounter to many diffuculties from hight sickness... We hope for the best.
This trek is supposed to be less travelled by westerns and we will go through small villages whose inhabitants have never left their valley. It all sounds quite adventurous and we are very excited about this.
We will most probably be back in internet and phone connection areas around 25th of May ;-)
