With all the adrenalin in our blood we continued the next day to visit bird’s paradise – a covered part of rain forest including running water and ponds with a vast number of different bird
species. Given the forecast we decided to go for a ultimate kite session in Langebaan on the 3rd of April and to drive to Cape Town on the 4th of April with all fresh
clothes coming from the laundry.
Before leaving for a three week overland tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls 5600km we had to organize the shipment of the kite material and prepare bits and pieces for the next three weeks.
The size and weight of the bag – 60kg, 165cm x 55cm x 45cm - made it a bit more complicated than just dropping it of at the post. Nevertheless with a recommendation from a shop at the Waterfront
we managed to send the bag including a brand new kite in the afternoon on the 05/04/2011 for a reasonable price. The last evening in Cape Town we went out with friend from school.
