Having had a wonderful breakfast and a dip in the victorian style swimming pool we drove straight to the next garage. Not only the dust on the car started worrying us but also the flat tire in the back did make it quite impossible to continue the journey. Thanks to two inserted plugs into the punctures a nail and a screw had left, we took off only 30 min later. The landscape throughout the drive back over the Swartberg via Meiringspoort changed to not being so dry. As well the street evolved to an even steeper dirt road from Potjiesberg Pass/Uniondale over the Prince Alfreds Pass until the very entry of Knysna. Kunigunde managed quite well temperature wise as well as not having any punctures :-) The surprise of the day was definitely the length of the dirt road (it turned out to be nearly 50km). At the end of the day we enjoyed the very first braai of the vacation in Buffalo Bay!
