First Day in Cape Town

Despite the flight and service provided was of decent quality we were in no position than to sleep a couple of hours in the hostel at arrival. Our first steps in Cape town led us down to Waterfront - a shopping and eating court just at the harbour - and later on to down town. Of course we couldn´t resist at least a little shopping (however we really only bought useful things - e.g. a magnesium block for making fire)... and we had our holiday start feast - a whole crayfish. We were even welcomed by two - a mum and a baby - seals! Both waving, huging and kissing each other in the harbour, not even 5 meters away from us :-) So far so good, currently drinking splattered-toad-supporting-white-wine underneath a palm tree at still 30 degrees at 8pm.
