We have spent some relaxing days cooking - eating - glühwein-drinking in Essen. As a preparation for our planned Himalayan walks we spent quite some time walking across frozen paths, climbing up snowy hills and catching snowflakes. Prepared like this we think we are ready to step up and continue with the second level of preparation: walking, snowboarding and going sledging in Switzerland and Austria.
